Our story
From securing blockchains to securing AI adoption
HCISS was founded by Daniel Addison, whose career began as a network security engineer at the Federal Reserve and continued through finance, telecom, healthcare and energy. Across those industries one lesson held: the organizations that can least afford a breach are often the least able to staff against one.
HCISS started by building security for emerging technology, including blockchain networks, smart contracts and electric-vehicle infrastructure. That work gave us deep experience in tamper-evident records, cryptography and automated security operations.
Today that experience is focused on the problem every organization now faces: teams are adopting AI faster than anyone can secure it. HCISS gives healthcare practices, colleges, public agencies and growing companies a practical path from AI uncertainty to continuous security, with nothing to staff, patch or manage themselves.
